Save Time With Park City Grocery Delivery And Ski Rental Delivery
Many families take a Rocky Mountain ski trip each year as their annual tradition. The memories created during these annual trips are the most enjoyable experiences for your children, but not always for those in charge of making all the arrangements.
By now you`ve reserved your tickets with the airline and rented a great rental condo close to Park City Mountain Resort in Park City, Utah. Your ski condo is walking distance to the hill, has an outdoor hot tub, video games for the kids, and a fully equipped kitchen. You know how much the kids will enjoy coming home to delicious snacks and some warm hot coco by the crackling fire at the end of each day.
You hope you`ve thought of everything but you expect that a mix up on your day of arrival can potentially cause an poor beginning to your family vacation. You`re scheduled to arrive in Salt Lake City around 1:20PM in the afternoon. All you have to do is pick up your luggage and then ride your shuttle to Park City so you can pick up your keys at the property manager. If things go according to plan you should be dropping off your gear at the condo sometime around 2:30PM.
After you`ve dropped off your bags, you`re going to take the free town shuttle to get a quick bite to eat and then stop by the ski rental shop to pick up your ski rentals around 4:00PM. A quick shuttle ride back to the condo to drop of your ski rentals and then its back on the shuttle to do the grocery shopping for the week and handle the all important liquor store run. With any luck you`ll be home at your condo by 6:30PM or 7:00PM.
You might be able to save a little time by calling a cab instead of using the free town shuttle or maybe avoid the shuttles and cabs altogether by renting an SUV, but other than on your first day it will probably remain parked in the garage until the end of the trip.
So far so good, but you didn`t expect the long delays at the ski rental shop, the grocery store, and the liquor store. It`s almost as if everyone in town was going to the exact same places you are at the same time! Since the lifts close around 3:30PM the busiest places in town from 4:00PM to 8:00PM are the grocery store, liquor store, and ski rental shops. Not only are the stores busy during this time, you`ll usually end up waiting in line for 30 to 60 minutes during the busy season.
Now imagine if your hopes for fresh powder are answered as you arrive into town. Eight inches of fresh pow is nice on the hill but only makes running around town a more difficult task than it would be normally. Add a 3 to 4 hour flight delay, a mix up with the rental car company, weather related traffic delay, or tired and fussy children, and you`ll wonder if this ski vacation is your last ski vacation.
It can all seem a bit overwhelming, but what if your groceries and liquor store items were already stocked in your rental condo when you arrived? You could fix a quick bite to eat for the kids, and then relax and unwind from your hectic day of traveling. You wouldn`t need to go to the ski rental store because you reserved through an equipment delivery service that drops off your equipment and sizes your boots and sets your bindings right in your condo.
You planned well and now even if you have some of the delays contemplated in the article your trip won`t be bothered. Delivery services such as The Grocery Girls www.thegrocerygirls.com will take care of your grocery shopping and liquor store purchases. Your ski rentals will be just as easy to take care of if you use a delivery ski rental company. Isn`t this a better way to start your ski vacation; absolutely worry free?
