Pros and Cons of organic Mattresses
There are many advantages of organic mattresses and they are almost always a better option than other mattresses. For example, they’re dust and allergen resistent meaning that they don’t carry allergy trigger spores as easily as other mattresses do.
They don’t harbor dust, allergens and mites that would normally provoke allergies. The natural materials used in the mattress provide natural insulation and also absorb humidity to create a dry, temperature regulated sleeping habitat.
Different from traditional mattresses, organic mattresses are comfortable and provide a sound sleep. Even in hot weather, the air circulation in the mattress allows you to breathe with ease and feel relaxed.
Sleep is vital to a persons well being. Many diseases are also caused indirectly by lack of sleep. Organic mattresses can be the key to reducing disease and increasing vitality in a person’s body.
The natural rubber organic mattresses are made up of dust and mold resistent materials. Its also chemical free and fire retardent. It makes a great mattress for anyone with asthma or respiratory issues.
There are also disadvantages to using an organic mattress but the advantages hugely outweight the bad. The first culprit is price. Organic mattresses are severely more expensive than other types of mattresses. The most inexpensive one is the innerspring version.
Another disadvantage is that some people say the organic mattress has a strange odor that causes headaches. The cotton used in making the organic mattress will being to sag after some time of regular use but this is common with all mattresses.
Organic mattresses are still the better choice, but make sure you know that the organic mattress you’re purchasing is truely natural. There are cheap imitators out there who make false claims. The best thing you can do is ask the appropriate type of questions before you buy.
