My Best Friend’s Journey to Oakland California for Laser Vision Correction
There are some truly talented people in the world. Only a few are able to realize their own greatness. Not all the people realize how great they are until the end of their life. A close friend of mine was just such a person. While we were in school together, he was the kind of person that never stood out. Amazingly, in college this became a different story.
His major was mathematics while mine was physics. I do not know what change took place, but he was one of the very brightest students at his college. It was interesting to see how he quickly became a top student. Only his teachers knew his passion and his prowess or mathematics.
My friend went to one of the top universities. Pursuing his one true love, my friend studied mathematics. Known for creating excellent mathematicians, is why my friend attended this school. Many of the students who attended the school have become famous for their work and contributions to the world.
Continuing to study at this university, I think in applied mathematics. Studying and researching as much as he could drove him to one main idea. He thus came to a conclusion. He realized that they were better facilities overseas. He traveled to the US he ended up in California. Through years of research into eyesight began to weaken. He went to a laser vision correction specialist residing in Oakland, California.
He left his wife behind a move to California. Remaining behind, his wife moved in with his parents. Burdened and feeling trapped his wife left him. When my friend heard the news of his wife is leaving, he became quite depressed. Taking his own life seem to be his only answer. I wonder why do the enlightened oftentimes seem so stupid.
