Gold Coast Australia Makes the Perfect Winter Getaway
As the weather in North America starts getting colder and colder, many residents travel south to enjoy the sun and the warmer temperatures. But are they traveling far enough south? Instead of traveling to the south-east or south-west, maybe you should consider traveling a little further, all the way to Australia. Since Australia is on the opposite side of the equator from North America, the seasons are opposite as well. As we are moving towards winter, Australia is moving towards summer, with beautiful weather and beautiful beaches.
Australia is the perfect region for a vacation any time of the year. They have moderate year round temperatures, making it just about perfect beach weather all year round. Perhaps even better than that their summer is our winter and vise versa, which makes it even more pleasing to go there during the winter months and hit the beaches.
Who needs to go to a tanning booth in the winter, just to go outside bundled in layers of clothes and put on your jacket? You pay all that money and no one can even tell under all the clothing layers. Now you can just escape to the Gold Coast, Australia, and get a natural tan, form the sun, while enjoying your shorts and tank tops, bathing suits and laying on your beach blanket in the sand. You can spend the days in the water; surfer, snorkeling, water skiing and more. When the night rolls around you can hit the entertainment scene at the local clubs, bars and restaurants. Surfers Paradise has some of the best night time excitement that you will ever witness, as well as the best daytime surfing, anywhere.
Just about 14 hours from plane, and you can enter this magical land, rich in green luscious rainforests where unique creatures live and beaches that offer you the sound of crashing Pacific Ocean waves to wake to by day or to fall asleep to at night. Australia is an amazing land that offers a lot of natural entertainment as well as some incredible theme parks, swimming, boating and deep sea dives.
Whether you would prefer the popular tourist areas, with their modern resorts and landmarks, to something more secluded and scenic, Australia offers it all to you. You can do everything from visiting art museums, to visiting amusement parks with rides and games, from shopping in the major cities, to exploring the rain forests. And for you golfers, Australia has some of the most gorgeous golf courses you will ever see in your life. Remember, no trip to Australia is complete without visiting the countrys Gold Coast region. This tropical region is the perfect place to escape the approaching cold weather.
