Striptease: Erin Grant is a stripper at the Eager Beaver. She is trying to raise enough money to get her daughter back from her divorced jerk of a former husband. Things spin out of control for Erin when a corrupt congressman comes to the club and takes a liking to her.
Hills Have Eyes Part 2: Lame continuation has a group of motocross fanatics stranded in the desert, preyed upon by a primitive family. This is loaded with flashback footage from the’77 film, containing one ludicrously alleging to be a memory by a dog. Cast includes Michael Berryman, John Laughin, Tamara Stafford, Kevin Blair, and John Bloom. (88 minutes,’85)
Sgt. Bilko: An army comedy with Steve Martin, Dan Akroyd and Phil Hartman. Sgt Bilko does basically everything but army duties with his platoon of soldiers. Life in Sgt. Bilko’s army is quite nice. That is until Major Thorn shows up and tries to spoil the fun.
Men in Black: When aliens make their way to the planet Earth, the Men in Black are there to clean things up. Anyone seeing an alien has their memory erased, and they forget the whole event. This way the common citizen has no idea of the peril we are living in.
The Good Girl: A 30-year-old female who feels her life is at a dead end becomes captivated with a young loner, and ends up setting her matrimony at risk. A rare film that manages to make a shift from comedy to poignant drama, with a denouement that’s almost heartrending-as a result of excellent inscribing and remarkable performing by the leads. Cast includes Jennifer Aniston, Jake Gyllen Haal, John C. Reilly, Zoey Deschanel, Tim Blake Nelson, Mike Off-white, Deborah Hurry, and John Carroll Lynch. (93 minutes, 2002)
